So the tracking is complete for the EP.
We've moved onto working on the final mixes, which is exciting. Sam's dropping round a copy to me today.
From what i heard last in the studio its sounding real heavy, we've got a few little surprises in there, some unexpected (piano?) instruments and some cool shit.
It's being released in September, along with a whole range of merch. Guys & Girls shirts, Pencils and Stubby Holders are all looking to be on our merch desk at shows in the near future. Expect to see some CSC eyeball-excitement around town. Only the coolest cats in town will be wearing them, so first in best dressed (literally).
UPCOMING SHOWS: well, it would appear on the myspace that we've been fairly inactive of late. but things are actually really bustling along.. we're giving our press kit to PIXE MUSIC who are organising our upcoming tour - which is going to be the biggest thing we've done yet. Touring our EP is going to be so much fun (im hoping to get my hands on a video camera and film some of our antics for you) i look forward to sharing it with you, hopefully you can make it along to some of our shows and 'party, party'. We're releasing all the tour dates at the same time, so keep posted for a full tourdate listing in the future.
On Sunday we're jumping into a big party car and heading down to Sydney to play a TAFE battle of the bands. We won the Newcastle heats by default because no one else tried out, which is sort of amusing/sexually-exciting. Accomodation on the night is provided, not sure what we're going to get upto after, if its not to late maybe their are exciting new sydney pubs to habituate. (gah, i've lost my ID.. so everyone will think im underage!?).

And.. we're also playing another band comp down in Sydney over the next coming month, the prize is a support slot on the HomeBake stage! So that's heaps important, hopefully we succeed and have funtimes, keke.
PHOTO: we recently grabbed a camera and took some glamour shots of the group. It was a fair amusing hour and a half, and i think of the 100+ photo's we took their might some killer shots of us pulling all our most attractive faces. At the moment they're still on Tommy C's computer, but ill try my hardest to post them up soon. You'll surely love them as much as we do! (Y).
